A Medicare checker in the making
Medicare choices, in plain English.
PlanPal is being built as a plain-English Medicare plan checker with a family co-pilot—for older adults and the people who care about them.
The Medicare plan checker is still in development. Please don’t send personal health or Medicare information through this site.
Our promise in the making
Clear information. A family point of view. No pressure to choose a plan.
The direction
What we’re working toward.
Medicare decisions can be hard to sort through. PlanPal’s goal is to make the details easier to understand and easier to discuss with someone you trust.
PlanPal is not ready to check Medicare coverage.
Today, this site does not process Medicare-card or prescription photos, provide comparisons or savings estimates, or offer Medicare counseling or enrollment help.
- 01
Start with the details that matter.
The PlanPal idea starts with a person’s medicines and Medicare plan details, explained without jargon. Photo-based intake for a Medicare check is not available on this site today.
- 02
Make a complicated choice easier to read.
PlanPal is being built toward clear, verified comparisons. It does not currently verify plan data, estimate personal costs, or recommend a plan.
- 03
Bring family into the conversation.
A family co-pilot is part of the vision. Shared Medicare reports, review checklists, yearly texts, counselor support, and enrollment help are not available yet.
Made for the whole family
A big decision feels lighter when you can talk it through.
We’re building PlanPal around the person making the choice—and the family member who wants to help them feel confident asking questions.
PlanPal is an independent project in development. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare or the federal government and does not provide insurance, medical, or enrollment advice.
